About

Our founder, Vikram, has always had a passion for homes with warmth and characte as well as an eye for the special pieces that bring them to life. That love for well-made things goes hand in hand with a deep respect for the crafts of India, where his family’s roots lie. He founded Izoma to bring that heritage into modern living.

Made by hand in India

Our pieces come from artisan communities in India where these skills have been passed down for generations. We work with hand-blown glass, fine hand embroidery and brass, and we select only work of the highest artisanal quality. The techniques are old, but the designs are made for how people live and decorate today. Because every piece is shaped and finished by hand, small variations are part of its character, and no two are exactly alike.

A family name

The name Izoma joins the first names of Vikram’s three daughters: Isabelle, Zoya and Maya. It has been a family story from the start, and it still is.

For interior designers, florists and hotels

Izoma began with a simple wish: to share these pieces with the people around us. Today we work with interior designers, design boutiques, florists and hotels looking for pieces you won’t find in every other shop. One handmade object can set the tone for a room, a table or a window display. As an ethical brand, we make sure the artisans behind our collections are valued for their skill.
